An art opening to benefit The Cancer Xchange, featuring paintings by Richard Tickle and Sonny Edmondson, was held in Blowing Rock, NC on October 26. This event was hosted by Michael Imboden at his men’s apparel store, 100 West Union. Over 60 people attended and raised over $12,000 (with several more donations expected) to continue the mission of The Cancer Card Xchange. This month, we sent gift cards to 45 people who are facing cancer. In all of 2021, we sent gift cards to 595 people who are facing cancer. Since 2011, a total of 5,125 gifts have been sent by CCX to brighten the day of people who are facing cancer. Those gifts total over $500,000 in gift cards.
